Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
By using InclinoMeter ("the tool", "this site"), you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The tool is provided as-is
InclinoMeter is a free browser-based utility that reads your device's motion sensors to display pitch and roll. It is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Accuracy disclaimer
Smartphone and tablet sensors are not metrology-grade instruments. Sensor quality, calibration drift, temperature, and physical obstructions (such as camera bumps) can all introduce error. This tool is suitable for construction, DIY, hobbyist, and educational use. It is not intended for applications requiring certified or legally binding precision — such as structural engineering sign-off, land surveying, or aviation — and you should not rely on it for those purposes. Where certified accuracy matters, use a calibrated, purpose-built instrument.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for how you use any measurement this tool produces, including decisions made in construction, installation, or safety-related contexts. We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or cost arising from reliance on a reading from this tool.
Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or overload the site.
- Don't use the site to violate any applicable law.
- Don't misrepresent measurements produced by this tool as coming from a certified instrument.
Availability
We aim to keep the tool available and working, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
